Seniors announce pre-season schedule

The new season beckons

Penn & Tylers Green F.C , under the new Management team of Matt Miller (Ex-Slough Town) and Coach Richard Camden, commence pre-season training at the club on Tuesday July 6th commencing 7.15pm. All existing Players and new players welcome. Penn will be running three sides again this season ,two in the Hellenic League and One in the Senior Section of the Wycombe & District League. Run of Success

Penn & Tylers Green 1st team regular Chris Hurst competed the recent Penn Fun Run, a distance of approximately 3.5 miles and came 2nd out of a field of 712 in a time of approximately 20 minutes, on a very hot afternoon in sunny Penn. A marvellous achievement and testimony to his self imposed dedicated fitness regime of the last few months, and so we are expecting him to carry on the good work and return  to pre-season training in tip top condition, although a weeks break in Turkey, on a “cultural mission” may hinder his progress in that area.  This is the second time Chris has taken the runners-up spot in this event.

During the clubs AGM held on Monday 21st June, Norman Rowe, president of PTGFC, presented this years Junior and Senior Management Awards whilst Chairman Tony Hurst made a very special presentation!

Adams Signed Shirt Winner

Tony Adams, defensive hero’s signed England shirt has been won!

The draw took place on Saturday 19th June at the club witnessed by Paul Benning and Andy Walker, amongst others. The drawn number was (un)lucky 13 held by Lisa Brooks, WELL DONE LISA!

£112.00 was raised for club funds, we would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition…and Lisa, if you want an offer for the shirt just contact fergus.sturrock@fes-photography.com!

PTGFC Youth - League Cup Holders and League Runners Up.

Penn & Tylers Green Football Club are looking for a Youth Team Manager for Season 2010/2011.

A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated experienced Manager/Coach to take charge of our highly successful Youth Team. We are constantly looking to bring new and established players to the club,  therefore knowledge of local football & local leagues and good contacts would be beneficial.

• Choice of Indian dishes all for only £5.00 each

• Music – England songs until 30 minutes before the match

Penn & Tylers Green Sports & Social Club requires a volunteer to become the Club Secretary.
