Mighty R’s bit of a report !

Rangers welcomed Tring Tornadoes today who were looking to put in a top performance after finishing second to Penn last season & also having the double done over them.
With injuries & illness forcing some key changes, Penn would have been forgiven for a slow start but that was not the case. Penn were dominant first half demonstrating just how far they’ve moved forward since playing Tring last season.
The R’s went into the break 4-1 to the good. Olie had he’s hat trick which could easily have been a double hat trick & Tinaye found the net in what was he’s come back from a nasty injury & looked like he’d never been away.
Second half Penn backed off the gas a bit & invited Tring to press but there was always an air of confidence that the Penn defence would sit firm & so they did. Balint made the points safe at 5-1 & put the R’s a touch closer in their campaign target to play div 1 next season.
A fantastic performance from the boys who stepped in & showed what they are capable of & demonstrates the quality of the squad throughout.
