More Gold for Emily!

Regular visitors to our site may remember reading how the club has provided sponsorship to local Penn & Tylers Green sporting star Emily Moses. See “PTGFC Support Diving” We are delighted to update on Emily’s progress over the summer as follows…

After some intensive training over the summer holidays Emily had 4 competitions with the following results. Kent  Level 3 competition – gold on 1m and 3m, silver on platform and 3m synchro Region 10 Schools competition (5 London Boroughs and 5 Counties) – gold.

Emily qualified for National Schools in November representing Region 10 at Intermediate Girls. Southampton Invitational (this competition is open to Level 3 and Elite divers from all clubs nationally) – gold on 1m, 4^th on 3m and 7^th on platform (after going over on a dive!!!!)

National Schools Final in Southend on Sea (brand new pool)  – 2nd!

Emily will be attending an intensive Christmas training camp in Sheffield making use of their water harnesses.   Crystal Palace  do not have water harnesses so will be valuable training for learning new dives.
