The R’s travelled to Chalfont Wasps today for their Mike Keen Quarter Final. Footballing wise, not the best performance, but every team at any level has one of those days ! What Rangers did have though was grit & determination to get the result & play either Wendover or Loudwater in the semi.

Penn & Tylers Green 0 – 2 Hungerford Town Reserves

After Penn’s confident win last weekend the home fans were optimistic about their encounter with Hungerford. Penn started the better side and should have taken the lead when Kieran Latta’s through ball fell to Jamie Hunt. His shot struck Stallard in the Hungerford goal and went wide. Maybe a square ball to Hurst would have been a better option.

Player of the Match Kane Bradding

Loudwater Lions  1 v 6  Penn Rangers U12s

Four first half goals from Kane Bradding left Loudwater on the back foot early on. A great individual effort. With most of first 30 minutes spent in our opponent’s half, Penn Rangers continually picked up the ball in the middle of the pitch and with several looping balls over the defensive back line, there were plenty of chances to run on at goal from Kane, Zach, Luke, Frank and Ben.

It was a perilously cold day at French School Meadows and the two sides competing were both lurking at the wrong end of the table so a win was vital for the teams. Penn kicked off towards the Farmhouse End.
