PTGSS Beer festival

Penn & Tylers Green Sports & Social Club are delighted to announce their inaugural Beer Festival to take place Saturday 25th June 2011 at the club in Elm Road.

Well it happened and what a day, well done to all those involved…to check out what you may have missed click here!

Some 20 beers and ciders will be on offer including tantalising brews such as Buzz, Hobgoblin, Tizzie Wizzie, Boondoggle, Cockerhoop and Old Thumber to name but a few.

Club Chairman Gavin Lance says ‘A proper beer festival in the village has been a long time coming, we are delighted to host the event and intend to make it a great day out for all with live music, BBQ, Bouncy Castle and of course a giant beer garden in beautiful surroundings”

The event will run from 12 noon to 10pm. Entry to the Beer Marquee is £5 including commemorative glass or £3.00 with out; beers will be on sale from only £2.50/pint.

Those not wishing to indulge in our real ale are welcome to come along and enjoy the day. The clubhouse bar will be open as usual offering other beers, soft drinks, wine etc.
