PTGFC U12 Girls 6 – 0 Marlow United

Penn & Tylers Green u12 Girls moved up to third place in the Bucks Girls Football League on Saturday with a 6-0 victory over Marlow United.  Taking advantage of some rare spring sunshine at Sir William Ramsay School the girls were grateful for a full squad enabling the team to take some well earned breathers in the balmy conditions.

Berkhampstead Girls 5 – 1 PTGFC Girls

Penn suffered their first defeat of the season at Berkhamsted. The match started at the later time of 12:30pm with with Emma in goal, Amy and Mills in defence, Megan, Lara and Rhiannon in midfield and Caitlyn upfront.

U12 Girls find goal scoring touch !

PTGFC U12 Girls

Penn scored two excellent goals in each half to secure a terrific win over Bourne End and continue their unbeaten start to the league season. The full availability of the squad for the first time this season  left left the manager with an embarrassment of riches and some difficult mental maths to share the playing time around evenly with rolling substitutes.

The U12 girls consolidated their unbeaten start to the season with an excellent 1-1 away draw with Marlow.  Coming off a draw and a win in their first two matches the girls entered the match full of confidence but also somewhat apprehensive given Marlow’s excellent recent record.
