The for further details on how to connect please ask at the bar.
Would you like to attend Penn Festival for free and work as part of our friendly team ? We need enthusiastic volunteers for stewarding duties and offer superb music and free camping in an area of outstanding beauty (with posh wash showers and loos!) in return for shifts. If interested, please contact us at info@pennfestival.com (16 years and over only, if you please!)
The Annual Dinner Dance and Award Evening took place on Friday night at Hazlemere Golf Club. It was a successful and very enjoyable evening, again helped by an excellent turn out.
Chairman Tony Hurst formally opened the evening with the customary season awards for the Senior Section followed by wishing the outgoing First Team Manager Matt Miller all the best with his new club next season.
The awards this year went as follows:
Graham gave about 70 of us a very enjoyable evening with his stories of Premiership Players and of course the three yellow cards. The evening was full of memorabilia being auctioned, competitions and a load of funny experiences. My thanks to all of the organisers who worked hard to make the evening a success including a very tasty Chile Concarne. Graham who comes from Tring may well be back in the clubhouse in the coming years as he manages his son’s side as they are looking to move over to the Wycombe league.
