A jubilant dressing room after a well earned win

PTGFC Youth 1 – 0 Bedgrove Dynamos

On a windy Sunday morning the conditions promised a good game of football with the ball staying on the deck for the majority of the duration. Johnny Carpenter lead the team out and the boys got stuck in from the off with Dave the ref’s warning of a £75 fine for decent fresh in our minds. Penn kicked off with confidence facing up the slope with the wind behind us.

Penn & Tylers Green Youth 1 – 3 Harefield

On an extremely windy Sunday morning the Penn and Tyler’s youth side were gearing up for what promised to be a tough, hard fought game against a very physical Harefield team. Penn had everything to play for in this match, close to Harefield U18’s in the league and coming off the back of a great result at Aylesbury Town, unfortunately it was not to be and the boys never seemed fully up for the game as there seemed to be a lack of desire across the pitch.

Penn & Tylers Green FC Youth 1 – 2 Harefield United (U18)

It was not to be. Against a physically strong Harefield United where one could tell the year age difference Penn & Tylers Green FC held their own for a long time eventually going out of the competition. In the end we could have had an equaliser with the last kick of the game.

Penn & Tylers Green FC   2

Beaconsfield SYCOB   3

It was a miserable Sunday morning at French School Meadows.

Penn & Tylers Green FC played against a very good passing side this morning and it took the boys a good 20 to 25 minutes to get into the game. We lost possession too often and the midfield struggled to get into their stride.
