Penn & Tylers Green FC vs. Flackwell Heath FC 2:4

Manager Gareth Williams oversaw another good workout in the second fixture of the season in a pre-season friendly against close neighbours Flackwell Heath on Saturday afternoon. This game was just as entertaining as the game last Saturday. On the Cressex Astroturf, just off Handy Cross both teams tried out new signings and different formations.

Judging by the two halves it can be said that the formation of the home side in the second half appeared to be more suitable than the one used in the first period.

Overall It was a good test with good chances for both teams with the game ending 4:2 to Flackwell Heath. As stated previously, score lines in pre-season games are secondary but this game saw lots of positives and gave our management team enough information for “the bits” to still work on.

The next game will take place next Tuesday, 16th July 2019, 19:00 kick off against Maidenhead United at French School Meadow.
