Gracefully speaking: Under 10 Update

Game one: A really well fought game this one. We put some really good passes together but couldn’t quite get anything on target, Charlie and Roca were at the back and did a sterling job, in Midfield were Leo, Benj and George. George made some great ‘George’ turns and slipped the ball up to Evan on a number of occasions, however Evan just couldn’t quite get the ball out of his feet, like he normally does. Leo was his normal self and covered most of the pitch and Benj made some great tackles to keep us in the game. Beaconsfield went one nil up from a clearance that put their forward through on goal, a bit lucky but well taken. Oscar came on for George as he picked up an injury in the second half, he chased every ball and kept on going right to the very end. We played very well and deserved something from the game, unlucky not to score near the end as it was all Penn & Tylers Green FC in the last 10 minutes. Well done boys.

Game two: By far the best team we have played so far. AFC passed the ball around very well and we came undone a few times in the first half, we battled hard and were unlucky to come in 2 – 0 down at half time. The second half AFC turned the screw a little and we got caught at the back, we let in five goals in the second half but even up to the final whistle we kept on going. Great attitude lads, it doesn’t matter about the result as long as we learn from it. Player of the match was decided by James’ dad and he gave it to Oscar, for his perseverance and tenacity, well done.
