Penn & Tylers Green FC Under 15s got their first twin of the season today 2-0 against Holmer Green. The boys worked hard from the start and pushed further up the pitch causing more problems in the right areas against a battling Holmer Green. Maxwell Coppock burst through with pace and drilled a low, hard shot across the keeper to get the boys going. 1-0. (This after completing a night time half marathon run for charity and not getting to bed until 4am!!!).

Sid Baile wore the captain’s armband with pride and gave another powerful performance along with the back four of Harley Fisk, Harvey Ali and Oscar. Deen Mirza linked up well with Harley to work down the right.

The whole team rose to the level required and looked strong and Cameron Kennelly showed a touch of class when the ball bobbled loose in the area to take a touch and finish well. 2-0. The game swung both ways with Louis Hester continuing to make some important saves and Darren Page working the Holmer Green defence hard and on another day, could have had a hat-trick. Bradley Jones used the space in the middle and started to control the ball well bring Dyelle Diamond & Matt Holden more into the game.

Great to get the win and good to see the boys implementing what we've worked on in training!
